Hello! My name is Shelly, and I live in beautiful Colorado! I love my state, because it’s all about spaces: mountains, streams, clouds, prairies, yoga mats, and parks.
And I love a good field of sunflowers!
The idea of space is so important to me! I think as women, we don’t take up enough space. In fact, many of us work hard to take up as little space as possible! (I know that I have!)
And that’s what got me thinking about this blog: How can we learn to take up space in a way that is authentic to us and honors each of our unique voices? Each of us will do it differently. Some of us will yell it from the rooftops of the world! And others will whisper it into the wind and watch it meander towards the setting sun.
The point is to find your own way of taking up space.
So in this blog, I’m going to explore different ways of taking up space. Maybe one of them will resonate with you!
